On 18th November 2009, the Harel Mallac Group has acquired 80% of the issued share capital of Orinux (Mauritius) Ltd, a leading provider of IT services with emphasis on data management and data protection solutions.

This move will result in Orinux Ltd becoming a significant part of our technologies portfolio and strengthens our presence in this sector of activity while allowing us to broaden the choice of our offerings. In addition there will be important synergies between Orinux and Harel Mallac Outsourcing in the Managed Outsourced Network and Security Services as well as in Managed Outsourced Data Management & Protection services for financial institutions.

We anticipate that the acquisition of Orinux Limited will fit well with our existing businesses and while being in line with our vision advances our regional expansion.

Orinux will be part of the Harel Mallac Technologies SBU and will report to Mr. Alain Ah-Sue.

Orinux Ltd specialises in Data Management, Data Protection, Network and Security, and professional services including training and all the disciplines related to improving the efficiency and effectiveness of an enterprise’s IT infrastructure.
